Autumn Bedding
Although its still summer and the hot Devon days are still with us! It's good to know that as the seasons change, so our Nursery changes.
Pansy, Viola's, Bellis and Wallflowers will soon be available in 6 packs, as will a new range of bulbs and flowers for autumn planting to ensure a magnificent display in your garden throughout Autumn and Winter.
Our environment
Where ever possible we prefer to use biological controls.
We are committed to reducing the peat we use in potting the plants we sell. We are also committed to finding alternatives to the plastic pots that are widely used within the horticultural industry.
Plants
Seasonal Bedding
During spring and summer, you will find a satisfyingly wide range of annuals that include petunias, geraniums, plants for hanging baskets and many more.
In the autumn we have ivy, heathers, primrose, polyanthus, wallflowers and stocks, all for winter planters.
Hardy Perennials
In the nursery we grow an extensive range of perennial plants. Whether you are after that cottage garden look using delphiniums, hollyhocks, asters and anemones or prefer a more simple look using foxgloves, geum and campanula, you will find your ideal plant here.
Shrubs and Trees
We offer a range of hardy shrubs, fruit and ornamental trees from small to large. The fruit and ornamental trees are container grown on dwarf rootstocks, ensuring vigorous growth and excellent cropping. Many of our fruit trees are self-fertile meaning that they are suitable for planting alone in your garden.
Along with the trees we keep a seasonal selection of soft fruits including blueberry, gooseberry, raspberry and blackberry.
In Autumn, we offer a variety of bare root hedging stock that is ideal for planting a natural screening hedge or somewhere simply for the birds to go.
Decorative climbers
