Spring Planting
Seed potatoes, onion sets and shallots are now available in our shop.
This is the right time to get your seeds growing, broad beans, carrots and peas can all be started now.
Strawberrys are also available as pre-packed bare root plants.
Our environment
Where ever possible we prefer to use biological pest controls rather than chemicals.
We are committed to reducing the peat we use in potting the plants we sell. We are also committed to finding alternatives to the plastic pots that are widely used within the horticultural industry.
Plants
Shrubs and Trees
We offer a range of popular hardy shrubs and ornamental trees that will provide the framework to your garden throughout the year.
Hardy Perennials
We grow an extensive range of perennial plants that will provide colour in your garden year after year. Available from early spring.
Seasonal Bedding
During spring and summer, you will find an extensive range of petunias, geraniums, surfinias, and all the plants you require for your hanging baskets and summer borders and beds.
In the autumn and winter we have cyclamen, pansies, heathers, primrose, polyanthus, wallflowers and stocks, all for your winter baskets and planters.
Fruit
Our fruit trees are grown on dwarf rootstocks making them ideal for the smaller garden. Many of our fruit trees are self-fertile meaning that they are suitable for planting alone in your garden.
We keep a seasonal selection of soft fruits including rhubarb, blueberry, gooseberry, raspberry, strawberry and blackberry.
Vegetables
To help you get your veg patch off to a flying start we grow a variety of beans, leeks and cabbages, not forgetting those important salad crops of lettuce, available in 6 packs ready for planting out. We also grow chilli and sweet peppers, tomatoes and many more.
Herbs
You will find traditional parsley, sage and thyme and the more exotic hot climate herbs in a variety of pot sizes that make them ideal for either growing on your window sill at home or for planting out in your garden or allotment.

We are specialist growers of over 150 different varieties of clematis to give you a stunning display throughout the entire year. From clematis that flower during winter and autumn. to the large double flowered hybrids that flower in summer, there is bound to be one that suits you and your garden. For 2012 we have a new range of patio clematis suitable for growing in pots.
