As more gardeners prefer to grow organically natural pest controls are the way forward.
With the use of Ladybirds for controlling Greenfly and Blackfly, Nematodes for Slugs and Vine Weevil,
biological pest control are the ideal solution.
Buying them couldn't be simpler. Just come into the Nursery, order what you need, and they will be delivered to your door within a couple of days.
There are also controls for aphids, red spider mite, mealy bug, leather jackets and caterpillars.

Location
In a lovely country setting, the nursery and garden centre comprises a shop, large outside display areas and a number of polytunnels.
The area is full of character and has great views over the surrounding countryside. Outside in the main planteria there is a wide range of plants maintained to our very high standards.
Our Plants
We stock many different varieties of hardy trees, shrubs, climbers, perennials as well as bulbs and seasonal bedding plants. You should be able to find everything you need for your garden whatever the size.
Should you wish to plant a fruit garden or herbaceous border we stock all that you need. Almost all the herbaceous plants and a large percentage of the hardy shrubs we either grow ourselves or they are sourced from local west country growers. We know the history of these plants and have great pride in their quality. All of the hardy plants we offer for sale are covered by our replacement plant guarantee.
Other services
Big Plants and DeliveryWe offer a delivery service within a 15 mile radius, so if your purchases are too large for your car we can deliver them to your home. Our Nursery has its own free car park and is on the main bus route between Paignton and Totnes.
If you have a need for unusual or specimen size trees or shrubs, we are likely to be able to help you. We have an wide network of contacts with other nurseries in the South West and may be able to find the plant you have been searching for.
SimplyClematis
The Nursery and Garden Centre are home to SimplyClematis. Here we produce and grow over 150 different varieties of Clematis for wholesale and retail customers. With such a wide range of Clematis available, you are assured of having a dazzling array of plants and colour all through the season.
Compost, Bark, Mulches, Chemicals and other garden sundries, can all be found in our nursery and garden centre. We stock the Bulrush range of composts from multi-purpose, through to Peat Free compost in a range of different sizes, as well as bark chip mulches. We also stock a number of chipping's that include flint and limestone, along with a variety of decorative pebbles for finishing garden ponds or pebble fountains.
